..was fantastic! We headed to Cali. to hang out with the whole fam and got to go to DisneyLand, and Lego Land. The kids had a blast....
...you wouldn't know from the pictures, but Susan Margaret was beside herself to meet the princesses(you will notice howerever that her eyes kinda lit up at the sight of the Fairy Godmother...the girl's no dumby)...and Tinker Belle....Pixie Hollow was a big hit.
Matt and Susan Margaret went to Lego Land.
John and I had to stay home because I had a stomach bug, and
John had a cold.
The cousins had a blast playing together. It is a week that we hope to be able to repeat again. Thanks Aunt Jan and Uncle David. You were fantastic hosts.
After living the California dream, we got to go to Tyler to spend Christmas. We had fun with Luv-You and Papa and crew. Susan Margaret got a toy horse barn, trailer, and horses for Christmas. Naturally the horses talk (neigh) when Susan Margaret is playing with them, and that had the hysterically comical effect of John imitating that noise when he laughs. He now has an adorably awesome hamster laugh that will get any party started.
Thank heavens for cows and pearl snap shirts to keep you grounded after hanging out with princesses! :)
