This past Saturday our church held their annual Father/Daughter dance. Susan Margaret was super excited to be able to go this year. She practiced dancing with her daddy the whole week before and practiced her twirling for good measure. As we were getting her all dressed up to go on Saturday, she kept looking at Matt with the sweetest adoration in her eyes and saying, "You're prettiful, Daddy." ...umm...like butta.
You'll notice in the pic that she has a dainty purse. She loaded it up with fruit snacks and passed them out to her buddies on the dance floor. That's my girl!
They had a great time and the highlights that Susan Margaret keeps talking about are the chicken dance and the long stem rose she got from Daddy.
Weather has been beautfiul here..(sorry you Utah folks) and so we have been playing like crazy outside.....we gave Susan Margaret a lesson in the finer things in life outside tonight after dinner...strawberries dipped in powdered sugar. It was a hit.
